Charlie started volunteering at the pantry in June of 2021. He enjoys reading and helping his children raise their children by being an active grandfather. Charlie said: “When HRFP moved to the Limestone location I knew I would work there after retiring. I have always loved community volunteer work, but jobs and children often kept me from doing as much as I would like. I now have the time and I am working distribution every Tuesday night.” Charlie has a “can do” attitude and shows incredible courtesy to our clients. He is also very helpful in training new volunteers. Thank you, Charlie, for all you do for the HRFP.
