I am a George Mason student enrolled in the BSW Social Work Program. It took me a while to figure out what exactly I wanted to spend my career doing because my career interests continually changed. Though my hobbies and interests seemed to be constantly changing, the one desire that remained consistent was my desire to help my community and others experiencing hardship. I want to have an active hand in ensuring that individuals and communities have their needs met. I am glad to find a path that would lead me to a career where I could help to make the positive changes needed in our communities. My goal this spring is to learn all I can and use that new knowledge to positively impact our community and help to connect individuals and families with the resources and support they need.
